Together with he Foreign Sport Exchange Center of the State Administration of Sports of China   and the Wenzhou Municipal Government, the International Council of   Amateur Sports (ICAS) successfully held the “Belt and Road“ International Amateur Sports Games   in Wenzhou City from October 13-20, 2019.

More than 400 athletes from China, Russia, France, the Czech Republic, Pakistan, and the CIS countries participated in the event.The Games set up 4 competitions events: swimming, tennis, futsal   (men) and beach football.

The Games not only   played a huge role in increasing Wenzhou's international popularity, but also many participating athletes have established economic and trade ties with local enterprises through the the organizing committee.

Media from provice Zhejiang, Wenzhou and many countries also reported extensively on the games. Wenzhou's sports media broadcast some swimming and football events of the games live worldwide.
